All medications are required by the Education Directorate to be accompanied by written instructions from a doctor/parent and should be clearly labelled. They are stored securely and administered by office staff. Self management of asthma puffers can be included in asthma plans.
Middle School
This stage caters for students in years 6-8, with a homeroom teacher for the majority of the learning time and another teacher(s) who deliver core subjects. The curriculum is learner-centred, involving students in decision making and encouraging them to think critically, make choices, evaluate and refine results.
