Kingsford Smith School has been designed to accommodate approximately 1,100 students and up to 110 teaching and ancillary staff. The school opened for students in Preschool to Year 7 in 2009. Kingsford Smith School welcomed students to Year 9 this year. The school will expand progressively each year until the school has students enrolled from preschool to year 10 in 2012.
